Very excited to report that the oven has arrived - and IT FITS just the way we wanted. We borrowed a truck and some extra muscles from Scott and Travis to help carry the nearly four hundred pound oven from the dock onto the boat and into the galley. It was a little hairy, but after a few bumps and scrapes, we got it in place and hope to goodness that we never have to move it again!
We decided on the Baker's Pride P44S-BL (Brick Lined). This oven is 26w x 28h x 28d. There are two separately controlled baking chambers and each chamber has two decks. The decks are twenty-one inch squares. This means I can turn out four raw-dough made-from-scratch pizzas every fifteen minuets (if I can keep up with the oven).
Here's a shot to give you a better idea of how the starboard side of the galley is progressing.
