Sasha has drawn the fuel system dozens of times to try and simplify it as much as possible. Two fuel tanks, two engines to feed, return lines from each engine, and the desire to transfer fuel as needed from one tank to another add up to a possibly tricky build.
Once Sasha had decided on a general layout we spent some time in Indiana shopping around for all the brass fittings. Amazingly, we found everything we needed.
Once Sasha had decided on a general layout we spent some time in Indiana shopping around for all the brass fittings. Amazingly, we found everything we needed.
Once we were back on the boat we discovered that the whiteboard was the exact same size at the space we wanted to mount the fuel manifold so Sasha set to work laying the pieces out.
Some how we ended up using fewer brass fittings than Sasha originally thought we would -- one more step towards simplicity!
Stay tuned for the rest of the fuel system build out!
